Forecast 

Colorado

Today

We will have a mix of clouds and sun today, warm temperatures with highs in the low to mid 30s with moderate winds 10-20 mph, for the central and northern mountains and strong winds around the Divide, between 40-50 mph with 60 mph gusts.  

Tonight

Scattered snow showers tonight with temperatures in the low to mid 20’s.  Expect 1-3 to 2-4 overnight for central and northern mountains with heavier amounts in the San Juns, between 4-8 inches.

Wednesday

Snow continues with moderate to strong winds between 15-25 mph, gusts as high as 50 along the divide.  

Wednesday Night

Storm should exit between 9 and midnight from west to east.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Utah

Today

Here we go, heavy snow throughout the day with high temperatures in the mid 20’s.  Expect strong winds 20-25 with 35 mph gusts.  Wind chills will be in the single digits.  Bring your clear goggles.

Tonight

Heavy snow!  It will be deep for first chair Wednesday.

Wednesday

Another “ride the storm” day as the snow continues.  Moderate to strong winds expected.  Wednesday night the storm will exit with the next system coming in Thursday night.

PNW

Today

Heavy snow throughout the day with some breaks in between waves.  Temperatures in the mid 20’s with strong winds 25-30 with 40 mph gusts.  Snow continues overnight with the deepest totals for the Oregon resorts.  

Wednesday

Storm exits in the early morning, along with the strong winds.  Temperatures will be in the teens with winds in the 10-15 mph range. 

 

 

Lake Tahoe

Today

Winter Storm Warnings begin at 10 am.  The storm is running a little later than the models predicted yesterday.  The first wave is expected to move in around 3 o’clock, with strong winds as the front arrives.  Expect winds to be in the 25-30 mph range with upper mountain gust in the 50’s.  Temperatures will start out warm but will fall throughout the day and settle in the single digits overnight.

Wednesday

Snow continues with some breaks in between waves.  Temperatures will rebound to the lower 20’s with light winds for Tahoe, in the 10-15 mph with occasional 25 mph gusts.

Wednesday Night

The strongest part of the second wave moves in late afternoon.  Cold temperatures will be in place for the overnight with temps in the single digits.

Thursday

Snow continues throughout the day.  Temperatures around 20 with strong winds 20-25 mph with 50 mph gusts.
