The Tide May be Turning for Tahoe

Summary

The models have been consistently showing no snow until the last week of February for the Sierras.  The Pattern says it is supposed to be there, so what gives?  It is still a long way out but sometimes the Pattern and the models aren’t on the same page.  That double barrel block, off the coast and Nevada, have been stifling the storms and zapping them of their energy.  The track is still off, but that appears to be waning.

Snow is in the forecast for Colorado Sunday with a few showers possible.  Presidents Day is looking good, so far.  We will keep an eye on these developments and bring you updates soon.
