Snow Stake Cams…..Coming Soon Snow Stake Page
Forecast Summary
Powder Alert Eldora. Eldora the huge winner, by far, with today’s totals–14 and counting. The snow has pretty much moved out of the west and will move out of the divide and foothills by early this morning. It is hard to tell how much snow Utah resorts received, but you can kind of get a sense by Alta’s before and after. It looks like their snow stake blew off overnight. Judging by the snow at the base of the stake I’d say 6-10.

Forecast
Pacific Northwest 3 Big Storms thru Wednesday
Partly sunny skies today and cold temperatures as the next system moves in tonight around lift closure. This is a relatively quick moving wave that will hit Oregon and Washington simultaneously. Expect 2-4 before the lifts turn on Friday, but there is a catch. Friday looks to be nasty with freezing rain that could spoil the snow at lower elevations. Right now, it’s looking like the freezing rain will hold off until noon.
Storm 2 hits early Sunday and Storm 3 arrives Monday.
