Pattern Discussion
Looking at the 10-day forecast above, we have a lot of snow coming to the west. The storm that just exited left some nice powder for Colorado, especially the southern resorts Wolf Creek 29, Silverton 26, Crested Butte 12, Monarch 10, and Telluride 9. The next system, Storm 49, won’t impact the Pacific Northwest until Saturday, so we have a little time to check some stats.
Below are the last two years, by month of precipitation . You can tell that this year is much wetter than last year. They also show you the Pattern/LRC. What sets up in September and October, cycle through the rest of the year.

I will be in Alta for that storm, the 23rd-26th. That is one of the dates that I targeted for an Alta trip this year. If you want to try our Snow Concierge Service, simply email me with your plans, or we can tell you where and when to go, using our forecasting expertise and the patent pending LRC model. We have had over 50 people reach out to us this year, which is double the number, already, from last year. Which is great because that’s why we are here. You can email anytime at Mike@FutureSnow.CO
Thank you for reading the blog, as always, if you have any questions, or need personalized info for trip forecasts, please email me at Mike@FutureSnow.co
