Short Term Snowfall from National Weather Service
Utah
Scattered snow showers in Utah today before the system moves in tonight. Expect 2-4 overnight for Alta and Snowbird with 1-3 for Deer Valley and Park City.
Saturday, snow and light winds, expect 4-8 for Alta and Snowbird with 2-4 for Deer Valley and Park City.
Colorado
The storm moves in late tonight. Snow totals will likely be in the 3-6 range for Beaver Creek, Vail and Steamboat, with 2-4 range for Aspen, Winter Park, Eldora, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin by first chair Saturday morning. For the southern mountains, the snow should hit Saturday night with 2-4 likely for Powderhorn, Telluride, Wolf Creek and Silverton.
On the back side of this storm, the cut-off system is expected to move through south of the Four Corners, this should bring additional snow showers to the southern ranges on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Lake Tahoe
Scattered snow showers possible tonight but the main energy from the storm will hit tomorrow morning, around 10. This storm is coming in a little weird with the bulk of the precipitation south of the Lake. Heavenly, Mammoth and maybe Mt Rose should be in the 6-10 range.
