Heavy snow today with Winter Storm Warnings spanning from Montana to Wyoming thru tomorrow night, as up to 2 feet of snow is possible. Advisories tonight for northern Utah resorts as the system moves in overnight. For Colorado, it will be a beautiful day today with lots of sunshine and moderate temperatures. Tomorrow afternoon that will change as rain will move in, along with strong winds.
Utah storm totals expected to be in the 1-2 feet range for Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, with Snowbasin, Park City and Deer Valley in the 6-12 range.
Colorado storm totals expected to be light in the first wave Thursday night into Friday, between 1-3 for most resorts. Second wave hits Friday night thru Sunday where we are expecting totals in the 6-15 range. Stay tuned.

I see a lot of weather reporting available, but where is the forecasting?
Before the paywall, it was ok to have to poke around to find the predictions, but without any visibility to the predictions, I’m not sure what I would be paying for. I already have access to snow reports.
That is a very good question Natr. Here is the answer–the predictions are forthcoming in the next week. Every year, a new pattern sets up in late summer and fall and a new cycle length is set. Last year the cycle length was 49-50 days, meaning that every storm that occurred would return on that schedule. That’s how it works.
I have a pretty good idea what the new length is and am verifying that length right now. Our first test set of predictions are coming out within a week. Choose the monthly option, for the price of a McDonalds coffee you’ll have access to predictions. Last year we nailed our early predictions getting everyone right. That’ll be hard to top.
