Active Part of the Pattern thru Aug 22
Hurricane Debby, now official, will run thru Florida towards Georga today. We predicted a hurricane to hit the Gulf side of Florida August 12th–7 days early and not within our +/- 5-day window. We will take partial credit for Hurricane Debby by predicting the path and location.
We are entering the window of our predicted storms of Florida (12th), Taiwan (13th) the return of Beryl, Corpus Christi/Brownsville (16th). 
Looking out into the Pacific we have a disturbance that is in the same place and time (different cycle) as Hurricane Beryl. Currently the National Hurricane Center lists a less than 40% chance of forming into a tropical cyclone in the next 2 days. We will be watching this storm intently as the possibility of a back-to-back storm would be extraordinary.

Hurricane season lasts from June 1 to November 30, our forecast is thru October 1st. That is a distinction that needs to be reiterated. By October 1st, a completely new pattern emerges and storms that occur after that date, for the most part, are the new pattern. Meaning the LRC cannot know what that new pattern is until it develops.
