Winter Storm Warning for Washington
The next round is underway with huge totals tonight for the Pacific Northwest (PNW). Expect a general 3-6 today, temperatures around 20 with light winds. Tonight, expect major dumpage, as we are expecting 15-25 for Crystal, Mt Baker and 8-12 for Stevens Pass. Tomorrow is the best day with blower pow and light winds.
The storm moves out Wednesday around noon after another 3-5, with similar temps and moderate winds.
The snow begins after the lifts start spinning. I am expecting 2-4 today for Mt Hood and Mt Bachelor. Snow totals overnight tonight aren’t as good as Washington, but decent, especially after the snow we received yesterday. We are looking at 4-8 overnight and 8-12 throughout the day tomorrow. Temperatures will be in the mid 20’s today and slightly warmer tomorrow. Moderate winds with gusts in the low 30’s.
The storm moves out Wednesday night and we load another storm in the chamber for Friday.
